|I began my career as an Investment Advisor with|
BMO Nesbitt Burns in 2001 and in 2004 earned the
CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFP)® designation,
allowing us to offer our clients comprehensive financial
planning advice. More recently I became the assistant
manager of the Exchange Branch and also a discretionary
portfolio manager. Prior to joining BMO Nesbitt Burns,
I enjoyed a successful post university career building
a restaurant business in downtown Toronto. With this
real world experience, I learned first hand lessons about
business and finance. Most importantly, clients come first.
And, having a business plan, keeping costs under control
and understanding risk form the backbone of my business
beliefs. These life experiences have been invaluable when
working with our clients, helping them to formulate and
stay committed to their long term financial plans.
I have always lived in Toronto, and my wife Isabelle and
I agree that our city is the best place for us to bring up
our two young children Sarah and Charles. Isabelle hails
from Quebec City, so the kids are bilingual, which is very
important to us. We have a great extended family, so we
make frequent trips to Quebec and an annual summer trek
to British Columbia. As the kids begin to grow, we look
forward to family trips a little further afield.
For me, the greatest satisfaction comes from the positive
relationships that we have built with our clients, and
knowing that we have been able to help them build and
maintain a roadmap to financial security.
