Too often advisors start off by talking about the money and never get back to asking about your life. By engaging in an in depth conversation we gain a better understanding of one another and the ability to formulate a road map to achieve your dreams. We invest considerable time and energy getting to know our clients and families to better understand their hopes and dreams.

Each one of these entities will undoubtedly have unique requirements that need to be understood in order to provide a customised solution to your long term objectives.
Your Financial Future Requires Planning We provide an integrated and holistic approach to wealth management on both the corporate and personal level. Along with Investment Management my business revolves around the Wealth management and Estate planning aspects of your investments either through the personal or corporate arena. I am a former attorney and have fairly extensive knowledge in this area, which I combine with, estate, legal, insurance and tax experts that form part of my team. In a number of cases we bring in external council both legal and accounting or work with your existing professional advisors if we are creating family trusts, estate freezes, holding companies, IPPs, RCAs, charitable donations etc.
This is a very specialized area and the team that I work with, both internally and externally are specialists in this field. What I always say to clients is that there are two ways that I can make you money, one being through smart investing and the other by saving you, your corporation, your family and your estate a large tax bill through proactive planning. I find that this is an area that is often neglected and one that can result in some substantial headaches down the road if neglected too long.
Our Clients Our clients span a wide variety of ages, countries and professions, including entrepreneurs, business professionals, retirees and high net worth families and those that have worked execeptionally hard and saved diligently to provide for a decent retirement. The average account size ranges from $250,000 to $10 million.
One thing that our clients have in common is that they want long term management solutions and not quick fixes or cookie cutter solutions.
Investments Its about you, the Client. Every investor has different goals, income needs and different compfort levels with risk and it is for this reason that we customise financial portfolios for each individual client. Broadly speaking there are two types of investment accounts: Managed Accounts and Traditional Brokerage Accounts. With a managed account either an individual manager or management team is given the ability and responsibility to decide on when and which investments should be bought or sold. For this option we would utilise some of the leading investement managers to assist us with the management of your portfolio. The traditional brokerage account is more hands on, clients hire us to adivse and assist them with their investments and they are contacted each time an investment is bought or sold. We have the ability to provide clients with both options and in some cases may recommend a combination of both.
