About Karen
Karen brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her clients with over 25 years in the investment industry, holding senior positions. Karen has worked with BMO Nesbitt Burns for 11 years as an Investment Advisor and Financial Planner.
Karen believes in giving back to her clients by active community involvement. She has served on various local boards such as; The Community Foundation of Orillia & Area, The Orillia and Area Doctor Recruitment & Retention Committee, and The Community Development Corporation. She is the past President of the Orillia District Chamber of Commerce, where she introduced a small business mentoring training program, equipping new business owners with additional tools to meet the modern day challenges of building successful, sustainable businesses. Karen continues to lead the mentoring program on behalf of the chamber. She was recognized by the community as the 2009 Business Woman of the Year
