My Investment Philosophy
As quickly as the markets go up, they can come down. That's why it's important to have a well structured and disciplined investment philosophy to carry you through the highs and lows of today’s markets:
1.Set specific goals. If you don’t know where you are going, any road can get you there. If you aim at nothing, you will hit it with amazing accuracy.
2.Adhere to a disciplined investment routine.
3.Buy. Hold. AND prosper. Buying excellent businesses in the long-term growth industries and holding them for the long run is an efficient method of portfolio management. This will allow your portfolio to prosper.
4.Investing tax efficiently. Having a tax advantaged portfolio is having a portfolio that focuses on after-tax investment returns. After all, it’s not what you earn but what you keep that matters most. Investors need to concentrate more on maximizing after-tax wealth and their bottom-line cash flow.
5.Preserve your capital. Protecting your capital from permanent losses by investing only in the highest quality companies and by not taking any unwarranted risks.
6.Sound investment advice. The role of an investment advisor is to focus on increasing your net worth and to provide prudent and consistent advice to help you achieve your financial goals.
