We take great pride in the trust that our clients have placed in us over the years. These clients can be broken down into two general groups:
1) Investors in the saving phase of their lives. Accumulating wealth; looking for advice on how best to invest for retirement. Emphasis on retirement and investment planning.
2) Investors past the saving phase looking to generate INCOME and some CAPITAL GROWTH. Looking for advice on how to invest for maximum after-tax income, and how to preserve capital. Emphasis on estate and investment planning.
Some investors prefer to have their investments managed for them, while others prefer to be active participants in the investment management process. We have the knowledge and the expertise - backed by BMO Nesbitt Burns' extensive products and services - to satisfy the needs of both types of investors.
Investment Philosophy Our strength is in individual stock selection for our client accounts. The majority of these are conservative, dividend-paying Canadian companies, complemented where appropriate by smaller companies where we see an opportunity for growth or perhaps just extraordinarily good value. We monitor stock holdings constantly. If you participate in the management of your account, we work together to contact you if any changes are required.
