I have worked as an Investment Advisor since 1993. Prior to this, I was with a major Canadian Bank for five years. I graduated from the University of Alberta where I earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree with distinction. I have completed numerous programs from the Canadian Securities Institute, including the Canadian Securities Course, the Canadian Options Course, the Professional Financial Planning Course and the Life Insurance Course. I live in St. Albert with my wife Desiree; my daughter, Shaelynn; and my son Christopher.
Karen Vert
To support me and to assist my clients I have an Investment Representative, Karen Vert, who plays an important role in my team. She is well-qualified to offer you information about your account and handles all administrative duties. This includes (to name a few) issuing cheques, automatic deposits or withdrawals, tax reporting, RRIF and RRSP deposits and withdrawals. Working in the investment industry since 1993, Karen has completed the Canadian Securities Course in 1996 and the Professional Financial Planners Course in 2004. She is licensed to carry out transactions on your behalf. We understand the importance of offering clients the most comprehensive service and support and as such, are committed to striving for excellence. She can be reached at (780) 945-5262.
Investment Philosophy
I firmly believe that my client’s interests are best served by taking a fully diversified approach to investing. I am distinctly qualified to help you. First, by listening and learning about your unique story, and then designing and implementing an investment strategy that accurately reflects your situation in life and your individual goals and objectives. Whether it's recommending an estate planning strategy that helps preserve your wealth for future generations, protecting your family's assets through insurance, or designing a detailed financial plan, I can see to it that your entire financial life is looked after professionally.
For a more detailed explanation of how I deal with clients please go to the My Process section. Please follow the tabs (Publications, and Links) at the top of the page for valuable investment resources and educational material.
