BMO Nesbitt Burns
Dean Manjuris joined Burns Fry Ltd. in 1983 as an Investment Advisor in Toronto. In 1985, he became a Manager of the Yonge and St. Clair branch. He moved to manage one of the firm's downtown Toronto branches in 1986. In 1991, Mr. Manjuris was appointed to National Sales Manager, Senior Vice President and Director, Private Client Division. During his tenure as National Sales Manager, the Burns Fry sales force doubled from 1991 to 1994, prior to Burns Fry's merger with Nesbitt Thomson. In the spring of 2003, Mr. Manjuris was appointed to his current position as Vice Chairman of the Private Client Division, a key line of business in the Bank's overall wealth management strategy. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Manjuris held the position of President and Managing Director of the Private Client Division for four years. Under Mr. Manjuris' leadership, the firm has widened its product and service offering to clients and launched industry leading online initiatives and a comprehensive program to deploy Investment Advisors into BMO Bank of Montreal branches across Canada. Mr. Manjuris is a member of the Board of trustees for BMO Nesbitt Burns Group of Funds; a member of the board for BMO Nesbitt Burns Financial Services Inc.; a member of the Management Board of the Bank of Montreal; and a member of the Board of Directors of the I.D.A.. Mr. Manjuris holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and is a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute. |
