Solutions for Your Needs

Elder Care
Nancy and her brother Bill are in their early 50s* and have concerns about supporting their aging parents. Both their mother and father are in their late 70s and in declining health. Their assets are being depleted very quickly keeping their father, who has Alzheimer's, in a nursing home.

Their mother is still at home, but since her husband became ill she is more anxious and forgetful, and doesn't feel confident about managing her affairs. She'd like to continue living in their house - which represents a significant portion of their assets - and is unwilling to sell right now. However, she is often lonely and is having trouble with home maintenance and upkeep.

Nancy and her brother are currently taking turns driving to spend time with their mother on weekends, but their own families, jobs and the distance do not allow them to be with her during the week.

Addressing the Situation
You, like Nancy and Bill , may face planning issues that involve different generations of family members. Let's take a look at some solutions that can help.
